REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY

We as The Sports Company Pty Ltd, do not have any reservations refunding or replacing one of our purchased products and will endeavour to do so as timeously as possible.

However, please take note that our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund and/or exchange.

To be eligible, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must also be in the original packaging.

 

Summary of non-refundable and/or non-returnable items:

  • Any item that falls outside of 30-day return/refundable window
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged and/or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Gift cards

 

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/exchange.

If approved, then your refund/exchange will be processed, and one of two things will be actioned according to your preference:

  1. a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment (this can take a couple days)

OR

  1. an exchange will be actioned, and a replacement product/item will be on it’s way to you

 

PRODUCT WARRANTY, DEFECTS & REPLACEMENTS

Our general product warranty is classified into two categories:

Hardware: 6 months

Footwear & Apparel: 3 months

 

All our products are inspected and reviewed before being sent out for order, but in the unlikely event that the product you receive is defected and/or does not last the general warranty period, we will replace it with either:

  1. The same product/model
  2. A different product/model to the same value
    1. If a model of a different value is requested, the balance amount will be processed manually at the same time

Please note that before we approve replacements, all products/items will undergo an internal inspection to make sure there was no misuse and/or abuse from the customer’s side.

 *General wear and tear does not constitute as a product defect

 

SHIPPING RETURNS

To return your product, the item needs to be sent back to our distribution warehouse:

Gauteng

South Africa

 

You as the customer are liable for these freight costs regarding product/item return – unless we (The Sports Company) were at fault regarding initial order (incorrect product received, product defect etc).

All shipping costs otherwise are non-refundable and should you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Please note that depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
